Police are investigating a possible break-in at two cellphone stores in the same strip mall early Tuesday morning.
Around 2 a.m. the front windows of the Sprint and the Verizon stores at 5212 Northland Dr. NE were shattered.
These incidents mark the 20th and 21st cellphone store break-in since August in Kent and Ottawa counties.

The city’s Christmas 41 ft tree went up early this morning ahead of the tree lighting ceremony on Friday December 6th at 5:30.
The tree made the trip over 100 miles from Manton.
Rockford Construction says Buist Electric, Gelock Heavy Movers, and Shine Decorators beautify the tree.

The Muskegon City Commission may vote on renaming The L.C. Walker Arena today. They’ll hear from folks both for and against the deal with Mercy Health.
Muskegon city leaders announced in October the renaming of the L.C. Walker Arena to the Mercy Health Arena would take place by the end of the year. New signs with the new name were part of the 15-year naming rights agreement costing Mercy Health $100,000 annually.

No, it's not a movie: Some bold thievesmade off with a huge haul of priceless treasuresand artifacts from a famed castle vault in Dresden, Germany, tipping off a huge manhunt and sparking wide-eyed international interest.More than 100 items were stolen in a raidon the Green Vault in the Royal Palace, including jeweled agate figures, goblets made out of gilded ostrich eggs, a sword inlaid with almost 800 diamonds and several brooches, crests, epaulettes and other fancy baubles. As fascinating as the heist is, Germans are devastated.The Green Vault is considered a national treasure, and its collection dates back hundreds of years. A local politician called the heist an "attack on the cultural identity of all Saxons and the state of Saxony." So far, there's not a lot of information about the thieves or their whereabouts.
