GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police officers were called to the scene of a fourth shooting in a single day Saturday night.
Officers say it happened around 11 p.m. at Highland Street SE, near Prospect Avenue.
The Grand Rapids Police Department says a woman was shot. Her injuries are not life-threatening, police say.
It marks the fourth shooting that happened Saturday in Grand Rapids.Two of those shootingswere fatal. One of them happened just after 2 a.m. on Ionia Avenue SW near Albany Street SW. Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
