GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police responded Wednesday evening to the scene of a second unrelated shooting on the West Side.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Gezon Avenue NW north of Leonard Street. That’s near The Mitten Brewing Co. and a Taco Bell. Neighbors said they heard gunfire and saw a man taken away in an ambulance.
The Grand Rapids Police Department said the man’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
