Cops looking for Plainfield Township gas station robbery suspect

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating a robbery at a Speedway gas station overnight.

Deputies were dispatched around 3 a.m. Saturday to the corner of Jupiter and Plainfield avenues in Plainfield Township.

Authorities say a subject walked into the building and informed the attendant that he was robbing the store. He then ran off with an unknown amount of cash, police say.

The suspect is a bald white man with a heavy built. He is around 40-50 years old, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say he fled in a silver sedan.
