MANLIUS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One man has been taken to the hospital after being involved in an officer-involved shooting involving multiple car-jacks this weekend.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle Saturday night around 7 p.m. near Martin. Deputies later found that vehicle abandoned and discovered the suspect had stolen another vehicle in Wayland.
The suspect then crashed that vehicle in the Hopkins area and fled on foot. A K-9 track was performed but was not successful.
