BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A person was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out in a two-story building Sunday afternoon in Battle Creek.
Authorities said the fire started just after 12:30 p.m. onHamblinAvenue between Angell Street and Hayes Street in a residential building.
It is unclear if there were more injuries or what caused the fire as firefighters are still on the scene as of 1:45 p.m., according to Calhoun County dispatch.
