ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — A woman was killed and three other people, including two children, were injured in a car crash northwest of Rockford Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 2:40 p.m. on Algoma Avenue near Rector Avenue in Algoma Township. The Kent County Sheriff's Department says a Ford Focus and a pickup truck collided. It's not yet clear why.
The driver of the Focus, a 35-year-old Cedar Springs woman, died at the scene. Her name wasn't immediately released.
