MARTIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman was hospitalized after a car crashed into the small Gun River east of Martin Thursday night.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. along 2nd Street south of 116th Avenue in Martin Township.
Emergency responders say that when they arrived, they found two-thirds of the car underwater. The driver was trying to swim, but was being pulled away by the current.
