GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The concession campaign is underway: 24 Hour News 8’s Daybreak team recently hit the road to drum up votes for its Whitecaps fan food entry, the River Rascal.
The dish is one of10 food finalistsvying for a lone spot on the Whitecaps’ concession stand menus this season.
Made with an all-beef hot dog, a bun slathered in peanut butter, pickles, no-bean chili and topped with Cracker Jack, theRiver Rascal's recipe has raised eyebrows and interest from people in the community.
