BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was found dead in his Berrien Springs home on Saturday after suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Officers from Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety found 57-year-old Sylvester Booth laying in his basment just afer 1:00 a.m.
The suspect and Booth's roommate, 61-year-old Jerry Lee Osler, confessed to killing him approximately 4 to 5 days ago over a dispute over money.
Osler was taken into custody at the Berrien County Jail without incident.
An autopsy was performed this morning.
