REYNOLDS TWP., Mich (via WOOD TV) — A man suffered fatal injuries after crashing a snowmobile in Montcalm County.
Michigan State Police say Archie Demartin was driving northbound on Mackinaw Trail Drive near Saginaw Trail Saturday just before midnight when he lost control of the snowmobile, causing it to overturn and eject him into a tree.
Demartin was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The use of drugs and alcohol is unknown at this point.
