LOWELL, Mich. (via WOOD TV) — A part-time employee with Lowell Public Schools has been arrested, accused of creating child pornography.
Federal court documents filed Friday show Madalynne Iteen faces a charge of production of child pornography, which is punishable by between 15 and 30 years in prison.
A criminal complaint written by a Homeland Security Investigations agent says that federal authorities in Grand Rapids started investigating Monday after getting a tip from police in Ontario, Canada. The Ontario officers busted someone for child porn last month and since then have been keeping an eye on the suspect's email account.
