Hundreds demonstrate in GR Women's March

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in downtown Grand Rapids on Saturday to participate in the nationwide marches across the country. 

The Women's March is meant to highlight women's rights and to dismantle systems of oppression through peaceful protest.

Approximately 300 people were at Calder Plaza and listened to keynote speakers, before marching in solidarity through the downtown streets.
