GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Incumbent Rosalynn Bliss has become the first person to formally announce a bid for Grand Rapids mayor in this year’s election.
Bliss became Grand Rapids' first female mayor when she took office on Jan. 1, 2016. She previously severed as the Second Ward city commissioner for 10 years.
