New detour downtown!
January 14, 2019 -- Ionia Ave. is CLOSED from Pearl St. to Michigan St., scheduled until Friday. Posted detour is Pearl to Monroe Ave., but if you divert farther back you could use Division Ave., or even save some time on Monroe.
This is for steam main repair just north of Lyon St. The intersection of Ionia and Lyon has been tight for several months, for various projects. Westbound Lyon is CLOSED from Division to Ottawa Ave. Eastbound Lyon is one lane from Ottawa, and crams up against the concrete barrier next to the building under construction.
