GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating after a house fire in Grand Rapids Monday morning.
It happened around 10:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of Sherman Street SE between Eastern and Fuller avenues near Joe Taylor Park.
Flames and smoke were seen coming from the attic when a 24 Hour News 8 crew arrived on scene.
Neighbors told 24 Hour News 8 they believed the house may be under renovation and did not know if anyone currently lived there.
Authorities did not confirm if anyone was inside the house at the time of the fire.
The cause remains under investigation.
