GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A small oil spill into a well near Jenison is under control, officials say.
The spill happened Tuesday on private property in the area of 10th Avenue and Taylor Street in Georgetown Township. That's near Riverview Airport.
Ottawa County emergency management officials say about 10 barrels spilled from a pipe leading to an oil well. Some made it into a nearby bayou.
