Money lending store robbery suspect arrested in Kent Co.

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say they’ve arrested a Wyoming man they believe is responsible for a string of money lending store robberies.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a tip led them to a 46-year-old Wyoming man. Detectives spotted him driving in eastern Ottawa County Wednesday afternoon. Michigan State Police troopers and Ottawa County deputies stopped the suspect just as he entered Kent County and took him into custody without incident.
