2 facing charges for theft of 22 firearms from Holland store

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people have been indicted on charges connected to the theft of 22 firearms from a Holland hardware store.

Lacy Zimmerman and Matteo Marroquin, both 22, are charged with possession of stolen firearms and being felons in possession of illegal firearms.

Authorities say Zimmerman and Marroquin stole 22 firearms from Graffschap Hardware on Dec. 7 or 8. They were both arrested Dec. 10.

A third person, Andrew Leenheer, is also facing charges of possession of a stolen firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm for allegedly having one of the guns. 

Authorities believe all of the stolen weapons have been recovered.

Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Each of the suspects are being held on unrelated warrants in Ottawa County.
