GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — Grand Rapids police confirm the remains found in a man's Grand Rapids apartment are that of a missing Kalamazoo area woman.
Police announced Friday DNA tests showed a dismembered body found at Jared Chance's apartment on Fulton Street belong to 31-year-old Ashley Young of Oshtemo Township.
Young's family said she was last seen with Chance on Nov. 28.
It was the next day that police say Chance dismembered a woman's body at his apartment at 922 Franklin St. SE, near Dolbee Avenue.
