WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Kelloggsville High School is in a semi-passive, sheltered lockdown as police investigate a tip involving an issue with a student, an administrator said Tuesday morning.
A Grand Rapids police sergeant confirmed there was an active investigation underway at the school, but said he could not elaborate because of the nature of the investigation.
The sergeant said the investigation also included Grand Rapids Public Schools, but could not specify why.
The administrator also couldn't provide additional details as to what sparked the lockdown.
Kelloggsville High School is located at 4787 South Division Ave. in Wyoming, near 48th Street SE.
