GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Both sides of the aisle in the Michigan legislature are maintaining their focus during the remainder of the lame duck session.
State Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich says he’s optimistic for the session and the new year.
"I'm very optimistic,” the Flint Democrat said. “Now, I'm not the best person to ask that because I try to wake up every morning and say ‘I'm going to have a good day, I'm going to have a good week, I'm going to have a good month’ and that I don't take offense to things very often.
