WAYLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — One person was killed in a crash on snowy roads southeast of Wayland Thursday.
The two-vehicle crash happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Patterson Road south of 131st Avenue in Wayland Township.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Office said the driver of a southbound Kia appears to have lost control on the slick roads. The Kia slid into the northbound lanes, where it was hit in the passenger's side by a northbound SUV.
