ORLEANS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Firefighters are responding to a fire that’s engulfed two homes bordering Ionia County’s Long Lake.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday on Catalpa Drive near West Long Lake Road in Orleans Township, northeast of Belding.
Ionia County dispatchers say both homes are fully involved. Authorities have shut down Catalpa Drive, but the impact to drivers should be minimal because it’s a dead-end road.
