To The Point: Proposals 1, 2

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two proposals of the proposals on Tuesday’s ballot would make drastic changes to Michigan laws.

The first deals with recreational marijuana.

Proposal 1 would set limits on how much marijuana a person could have in their possession or at their home. It would also regulate how much it could be grown and how it will be taxed.

Proposal 2 would make dramatic changes how district lines for U.S. House, State Senate and State House seats are drawn.

The proposal would take that power out of the hands of elected officials, and place it with an appointed commission.

Hear more about each of the proposals in the above Nov. 4, 2018 edition of “To The Point.”
