KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a driver crashed a pickup truck into a building in Kalamazoo Tuesday.
It happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the Bank Street Bingo Hall, located at 1157 Bank Street near Collins Street in the city’s Edison neighborhood.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said a 26-year-old woman crashed her pickup truck into the side of the building, causing significant damage.
The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, but police said alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
