GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — DTE Energy crews were out in Grand Rapids' Eastown neighborhood Saturday teaching people how they can save a little money on their heating bill this winter.
Home Energy Consultations teams, made up of local community members, showed residents how to winterize their homes. They urged people to upgrade their thermostats, add aerators to their sink heads, insulate their windows and wrap water pipes.
