BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A Battle Creek resident is recovering after being rescued from their burning home.
Firefighters were alerted to the fire at a home on North Wabash Avenue north of M-66 just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators say the resident was trapped on the second story of the burning home because of a medical issue.
