EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — East Grand Rapids public safety officers are looking for a suspicious man seen running down a trail near Reeds Lake wearing nothing but underwear.
Officers say they’ve taken three similar reports about a partially nude man in that area. The most recent incident allegedly happened Friday, Oct. 19 in the area of Pioneer Club Road SE and Reeds Lake Boulevard.
In that case, a witness said the man was on the trail wearing only gray Speedo-type underwear. Investigators determined the man made several rude gestures to women as he ran down the trail and exited through the woods next to the trail.
Police took a similar call the day prior. In all of the cases, officers say the man never touched any of the people who reported him to authorities.
The man is described as white, between 30 and 40 years old and between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall with dark hair. Anyone with information in this case is asked to call East Grand Rapids Public Safety at 616.949.7010.
