GR photographer searching for couple in proposal photo

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — A Grand Rapids photographer is challenging the internet to find a newly-engaged couple.

Matthew Dippel captured their proposal at Yosemite National Park, but has no idea who they are. Dippel was on a road trip out west with a friend when he captured the picture that's bigger than 1,000 words and it's all about love.

"It was truly an incredible place honestly," said Dippel.

The picture was taken at Taft Point at Yosemite National Park, a place popular with photographers, brides and lovers.

Dippel, who works as a freelance photographer, and his buddy Josh were on a road trip out west and an awesome five-mile hike.

"We kinda planned it out so we would hit sunset at Taft Point," said Dippel.
