ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — An 11-year-old Ottawa County girl is in critical condition after a tree fell on her Monday.
It happened around 7 p.m. at her home in the 5700 block of Warner Street between 56th and 60th avenues in Allendale Township.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said the girl ran into the front yard when a family friend was cutting down a tree, which struck her in the head.
