GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are investigating after two people were shot Sunday afternoon.
It happened in the area of Logan Street SE and Charles Avenue, which is west of Eastern Avenue. Shell casings were found all along the block, officers at the scene said. Some bullets also hit a nearby church.
The victims later showed up at Mercy Health Saint Mary's with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.
