BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Both directions of US-131 at 100th Street in southern Kent County will be closed starting Friday night.
The closure will allow crews to work on the 100th Street bridge deck as well as shave a few inches off of the pavement underneath the overpass.
Due to the US-131 closure, 100th Street between Clyde Park and Division avenues will also be shut down. It will allow northbound and southbound US-131 drivers to exit the highway and reenter without having to stop.
Both directions of US-131 and 100th Street are scheduled to close at 9 p.m. Friday then reopen at 5:30
