SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was killed and another hospitalized after a head-on crash in Montcalm County Saturday night.
Michigan State Police troopers say it happened at 9:31 p.m. on Sidney Road near Hillman Road in Sidney Township east of Gowen.
Michigan State Police says a 40-year-old Stanton woman was driving east on Sidney Road when she tried to pass a slower vehicle in the left lane.
Authorities say she then collided with a 25-year-old woman from Greenville who was traveling west.
