GUN PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Allegan County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a crash that killed a Barry County man.
It happened on 106th Avenue east of 4th Street in Gun Plain Township, northeast of Plainwell.
Dispatchers say a driver spotted the victim lying outside of the damaged vehicle and called 911 around 4:27 a.m. Thursday.
A Plainwell officer was the first to arrive and confirmed the driver, identified as 53-year-old John Pluymers of Delton, had died.
