ArtPrize 10: Where to find fun for the whole family

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — While ArtPrize attracts people of all ages to downtown Grand Rapids every year, kids don’t always enjoy the same kind of art as everyone else.

But it’s still important.

"The arts are critical in education, in and out of school," said Becca Guyette, director of learning and engagement for ArtPrize.

ArtPrize's answer to this starts at the Visitor Pavilion at Rosa Parks Circle.

"We invite people to come down and think about how the arts impact their lives," said Guyette.

Activities at the ArtPrize Visitor Pavilion have the whole family in mind, including a big cube showcasing people’s thoughts on how art affects their lives.
