Both Koreas Agree To Denuclearization Goal

The leaders of South and North Korea are agreeing on how to denuclearize the Korean peninsula.  

During this week's summit between the leaders of both countries, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced he has signed a military agreement with South Korean President Moon Jae-in.  

Kim said that North Korea would permanently dismantle its missile site with inspectors watching and would close the Yongbyon nuclear facility.  Moon announced inspectors would be able to visit North Korean facilities.  

They also announced that they will jointly bid to play host to the 2032 Summer Olympics.  

Kim also said he hopes to be the first North Korean leader to visit Seoul, which he hopes to do in the next year.
