PAW PAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Both directions of M-51 are closed in Van Buren County due to a crash between an ambulance and a semi-truck.
The Michigan Department of Transportation said the northbound and southbound lanes of M-51 are closed at County Road 358 in Paw Paw Township, north of Decatur. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
Van Buren County dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 that an ambulance was heading northbound on M-51 near County Road 358 when the crash with the semi-truck occurred.
