PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) — A Chipotle restaurant in Portage will remain closed through Monday after a driver smashed into its glass front doors.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. Monday at the Chipotle at the corner of S. Westnedge and W. Milham avenues.
The Portage Department of Public Safety says a driver confused the gas and brake pedals, causing their car to accelerate into the restaurant.
No one was hurt.
It’s unclear how much damage the crash caused, but cleanup was underway Monday.
