HOWARD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The drowning of an 11-year-old boy in a Howard Township pool is thought to be accidental, the Cass County Sheriff's Office says.
Deputies say the boy and his friends were attending a birthday pool party when someone noticed the 11-year-old was laying at the bottom of the pool.
Parents on scene say the 11-year-old was brought back to the surface by his friends, parents started CPR immediately and called 911.
