OVID TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A suspect was arrested on multiple charges after breaking into a Branch County home and assaulting a resident inside.
It happened around 6:36 a.m. at a residence in Ovid Township, south of Coldwater.
The homeowner called 911 to report suspicious activity outside his home, and while on the phone with dispatchers, the suspect confronted the resident at a glass patio door. The suspect broke the glass on the door, entered the residence and assaulted the resident.
