KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A dead bird carrying the West Nile virus was recently discovered in Kalamazoo County.
The discovery puts Kalamazoo County alongside Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren on the list of West Michigan counties where West Nile has been found in animals.
There have so far not been any human cases of West Nile in West Michigan.
