COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were shot during an attempted robbery outside a bank near Kalamazoo early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Fifth Third Bank located at 5653 Gull Road in Comstock Township, northeast of Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo County Undersheriff James VanDyken told 24 Hour News 8 that the shooting happened during attempted robbery outside the bank. Investigators are working to determine if it was an attempted robbery at the ATM or if it was drug related.
