GREENVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a driver experienced a medical event before causing three separate crashes in Greenville Thursday morning.
Montcalm County dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 that the crashes happened around 10 a.m. on a stretch of M-57 (Washington Street) in Greenville.
The Greenville Department of Public Safety said the elderly man had a medical issue. His condition is unknown.
A person who was pinned inside a vehicle involved in one of the crashes had to be airlifted to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The westbound lanes of M-57 between Lafayette and Hillcrest streets were closed while authorities responded to the crashes, but have since reopened.
