BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A homeless man was killed after police say he beaten to death behind a store in Battle Creek.
It happened shortly after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 30 block of Green Street behind the Liberty Food Center near Main Street.
When police arrived on scene, officers found a 55-year-old Battle Creek man unresponsive on the ground with extensive injuries to his face. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Battle Creek Police Department news release.
