CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WOOD) — Nearly 2,000 people are without power near Cedar Springs Tuesday morning.
The outage was reported at 10:04 a.m., according to the Consumers Energy outage map.
A Consumers Energy spokesperson said the outage was caused when a third-party agency bumped wires, causing power lines to bunch together and disrupting the flow of energy.
The spokesperson said there is a crew working to fix the issue and if things go according to plan, power will be restored by 11:30 a.m., or 12:15 p.m. at the latest.
