GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — As work along eastbound I-96 comes to an end, it means it’s time to close the westbound lanes.
Westbound I-96 is scheduled to close at Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
The freeway will be closed from Plainfield to Alpine avenues, which means drivers along southbound US-131 will not be able to exit onto westbound I-96.
