Over 22K without power in W. MI after storms

WOOD) — Over 22,000 people are without power in West Michigan Sunday night after storms rolled through the area, packing strong winds.

The largest power outage was in Kent County where 17,415 people are in the dark, according to the Consumers Energy outage map.

As of 9:40 p.m., other counties experiencing outages included:

  • Allegan County: 358
  • Calhoun County: 414
  • Kent County: 17,431
  • Montcalm County: 2,290
  • Muskegon County: 1,228
