City of GR looking for campers and counselors for summer day camps

The city of Grand Rapids is bringing back its summer day camps for another year, and they're looking for campers and those interested in acting as camp counselors.

This is the seventh year the camps will be offered for free to residents. Camps will be taking place at Garfield Park, Martin Luther King Park and Roosevelt Park.

Each campsite will host students ages 5 to 14, and camp wil be held Monday through Friday from June 10th to August 18th.

Camp counselors will work 25 hours per week and be paid $16 an hour for their work. You must be 15 years or older to be considered for the position.
