FEMA extends storm grant application deadline

FEMA is extending the application deadline for home and businesses owners in nine Michigan counties that were impacted by severe weather last summer.

Residents now have until May 8th to apply for storm grants to help cover expenses not covered by insurance, including rental assistance, damaged or destroyed property, lodging reimbursement and basic home repairs.
